PROJECT LOVE SELF-CARE
According to research, women who have survived domestic dating violence tend to feel extremely worthless on Valentine’s Day

For some survivors of domestic or dating violence, Valentine’s Day imposes a painful sense of responsibility to show love or affection.
On February 14th they often feel more alone, depressed, and vulnerable than they do all year. Because of this Project Love was created as a seed of love.
We provide Valentine self-care packages to our Domestic Care Survivors that reside in Safe Haven Homes. The packages include roses, self-care meditation journals, bath bombs, and other self-care products. In 2019 we served 25 women who lived at Columbia Sister Care. Our goal for 2023 is to host five domestic safe haven shelters.
